Why We Built This Site
Minnesota court records can involve more than one access route. Washington County Court Administration is the local record custodian for the Minnesota District Court divisions, while Minnesota Court Records Online, known as MCRO, provides statewide public searching. A Case Details page includes the chronological Register of Actions when it is publicly accessible. The filing system, Minnesota eFile and eServe, serves parties and authorized filers rather than functioning as the public docket reader.
Washington County has criminal, traffic, civil, conciliation, family, juvenile, probate, and mental-health matters within its District Court record system. The practical question is often whether a person needs an online case entry, a hearing date, a courthouse terminal, or a copy from Court Administration. This resource organizes those distinctions with local contact and access information.
What You Will Find Here
- Docket guides: the local paths for Criminal Docket Search and Civil Docket Search
- Hearing information: how to use Court Dates and confirm a setting with Court Administration
- Public searching: a Case Lookup by party name, case number, citation number, or attorney information
- Copies and files: how to use Court Record Search information when seeking ordinary or certified copies
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. We are not connected with the Minnesota Judicial Branch, Washington County Court Administration, or any other government agency. There are firm limits to what this resource can do:
- We cannot retrieve an official docket sheet or case file for anyone
- We cannot change, reschedule, or reset a court date or hearing setting
- We cannot remove, seal, or amend a case on any docket
- We cannot issue certified copies of any docket, order, or court document
- We cannot give legal advice or interpret how a particular case applies to someone
- We cannot guarantee that every published fee, phone number, or hearing setting remains current
Only Washington County Court Administration or the Minnesota District Court holding the case can issue an official or certified court record. Any official document must come from that custodian.
Search Partners
Some pages include search boxes operated by third-party providers. Those providers control their services, prices, and results. A paid signup that follows one of those tools may produce a referral fee for this private resource. We do not control provider charges, coverage, or search results.
